We hope you will make plans to join us for our first Luau, Aloha Kakou. Pool decks will be transformed into a Polynesian paradise with exotic island dancers, a traditional roasted pig ceremony, fresh tropical drinks, and an auction. There will be an opportunity to win round trip airfare for two on Southwest Airlines.
Aloha Kakou, a message of love between us all, signifies the bringing together of a community to celebrate life and joy. Proceeds will help support the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center Children’s Scholarship Fund and third-grade water safety/learn-to-swim program that provides life-changing aquatic instruction for all 1,450 third graders in Pasadena Unified School District.
There are opportunities for everyone to participate.
SPONSORSHIPS – Event and Table Sponsorships are available at multiple levels for your company, family and friends. Sponsorships provide critical support and will be acknowledged on the event and RBAC websites, the TV screens in the RBAC lobby and in digital materials that together reach over 25,000 recipients. Sponsorships are due no later than August 25, 2018.
AUCTION/CHANCE BALLOON ITEMS – Donations of gift certificates, vacation homes, dinners, theatre or special event tickets, opportunities for movie or television walk-on parts, special tours, golfing outings, etc. make the auction and chance balloons exciting opportunities for donors. Donations are due in the RBAC Office by August 31, 2018.
CASH DONATIONS – Cash donations will be used to help underwrite event costs, create auction packages and support the Children’s Scholarship Fund.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, community leaders and patrons, the RBAC serves over 450,000 children, families and seniors annually. It is open 360 days a year providing 100 hours of programming every week. The RBAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
We look forward to your participation.
